alt text: i read some medical papers on swallowing forks while writing this coming (RESEARCH) and it turns out that the elderly swallow cutlery disproportionately often, so THAT’S something to look forward to. i also read a paper on a woman who ate a fly (what) and was trying to ‘scrape’ the fly out with a fork (whatt) and while doing that accidentally swallowed the fork (whattt)

this is probably the most terrifying thing I’ve ever seen.
